Talk:Lua from Other Languages
This is my (Emess talk) latest project. In this page, it will have multiple sections listing the differences of Lua and other languages.
People from other programming languages do not have to learn new languages in beginner perspective. Instead, they need a list of differences so they could easily learn.
Who knows, it may not turn out well, so I need people who know languages such as Java, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, C(++). Anyone want to help? Emess talk 19:04, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
I can help with PHP, Python, Ruby, and C(++). Myrkos 19:34, 23 December 2010 (UTC) Myrkos
- Sign your posts with ~~~~ next time... Anyway, thanks. I will make the structure of the page, and you could do the rest. Emess talk 19:32, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
I've added some stuff on the C family of languages, and a small bit on Haskell since I know a little about it. Ozzypig 20:06, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
I'm not trying to sound bad here, but what does this have to do with Roblox?
- I has a lot to do with Roblox Lua, teaching programmers of other languages the differences, obviously. Emess talk 21:00, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
Sorry guys, I won't be able to add anything today, but I will try to tomorrow. Myrkos 04:11, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

"cannot get stand-alone executables from Lua. " I beg to differ.
Improve this page?
I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to languages outside of Lua. Want to improve this page? Or is it even needed?
