It doesn't need $400 software to make hats. Your end-product just needs to be in .3ds format. Carrara 3d Basics costs $100 and will get the job done easily.

I play roblox, and i made some 3D files that look good, why cant i upload files, I WANT TO UPLOAD FILES!!! :D :D :D :D
Anim8tor Program
I've just installed the Anim8tor program, and I find it very difficult to use. I'm going to search for the manual for it. All I can use right now is the chop tool. I'll learn more about it soon. I guess it has to be pretty good to be put in the article part of this page.
I still don't know how to use it either. I make my meshes in ZModeler, then import them into Anim8tor. ---Gamer3D 15:43, 21 April 2008 (CDT)

I really tried both, online first, then solo mode. They both worked as far as I'm concerned. I don't know what Solo mode really does that Online can't. -Outofspace 07:43pm CST May 07, 2008
Well, when you use non-web-address stuff as texture or sound ids, etc, it gets a weird number that's a jumble of letters and numbers. My theory, is that when you visit, your computer doesn't recognize that jumble, but when you visit in solo, the files are actually there, and from that point on, your computer associates those jumbles with their proper files. -- JustinP231 07:55, 8 May 2008 (CDT)

They have removed mesh and music from roblox. Builderman said it makes roblox to laggy. So we can't realy use this at all enymore.
