I am a very experienced Macintosh user. Yes, you can run VM programs like Boot Camp and VM Fusion (I DO NOT recommend Parallels), but another way that the wiki didn't mention is that you can remote connect to a Windows PC or you can use [Darwine] you play Roblox.--K9rosie unknown time stamp,(CDT)
Bootcamp would probably be a better alternative than the VM program you're talking about. Roblox is fairly physics intensive, not to mention Windows is a resource hog. It wouldn't run very well.
Linux is far more specific than you're hinting at, there are a LOT of problems with running it on any Linux distros because Roblox requires a Registry. VMing it would be the only real way, but that still causes problems stated above. ---Mr Doom Bringer 11:45, 8 June 2008 (CDT)
Do any of these suggestions actually work? ROBLOX uses 3D gfx hardware, which to my knowledge is not virtualized in any VM product --Telamon 01:06, 9 June 2008 (CDT)
Don't most computers come with 3D rendering harware? Rather, aren't they built in with the graphics driver? If this was the case, then simply installing a gfx drv to a VM would be enough. --OutOfSpace 11:19, 9 June 2008 (CDT)
Yes, but VMWare fusion gives you full access windows on your Mac. And with the driver installed, wouldn't that give you abilities of ROBLOX? And Mr Doom Bringer, i haven't messed with a linux machine to any great decent for a while so all i could give was previous knowledge. --Bigbrainkid 08:15, 10 June 2008 (CDT)
Mr Doom Bringer was talking about how good ROBLOX would run on a Virtual Machine. Most likely, it would not. Even with the drivers installed I doubt it would work (unless you have a ton of resources to spare.) So, in conclusion, it's plausible. However, the quality of ROBLOX might be less than good. --OutOfSpace 13:07, 10 June 2008 (CDT)
Wine can't run roblox, I've tried Eyegotbanned 03:23, 17 November 2008 (UTC)
For some reason I cannot edit this page. This seems to be an index for non existent pages. Would someone explain? --Camoy 20:52, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
