Roblox Wiki:Protected page guidelines

Well, this page wasn't here, so I guess I'll take a stab at it.

• Locked pages are locked for a reason, so if you are doing anything more than small changes, you should notify the person who locked/last edited the page.
• Templates (especially ones that appear on more than one page) normally have a large area that they are in use, so be careful when changing them. If you change something so the template doesn't work anymore, then every page that uses the template will not work anymore. This is a spot that you should ALWAYS ask before changing, as it has a profound effect on everything.
• The main page is the exception. Go for it, just don't kill it, and use the "Preview" button before saving, lest you mess something na d have to go back and change it, or even forget about it.
