The My Places page is where you can see the information about your own Places. Here, you will see a list of all the places that you own in your Showcase. These places are the places that other people can see as well, on your Profile Page.

On each Place you will see a bunch of different things. Let's run through them.

The giant buttons

I'm sure you've noticed those already. These buttons are to select what you want to do. Sometimes some buttons are shown, sometimes they aren't.

Play Button

This giant button is what you press when you want to play online right now. It will start Roblox Studio and load you into the first empty Server that is available. If no spaces are available, it will start a new Server for you and your friends to play on automatically.

Build Button

This slightly smaller button is the one you press to go to that place by yourself. It starts Roblox Studio and lets you play around in the places. This button will only show up if you own the place, or if the owner has the place set to Un-copylocked.

Edit Button

The Edit button only shows up on your places, or Un-copylocked places, and only if you're looking at the website through Roblox Studio. This will open the Place in Edit Mode, where you can really get some building and scripting done.

Visits and the Image

Visits

The Visits counter displays how many people come into your place. It takes about 5 or so minutes to update, so don't expect it to show people coming into your place instantly.

Place Preview

That big picture there is the Place Preview. It gives people a picture of your place to get an idea of what it looks like. It's really easy to change what this picture looks like. When you Publish your place, point the camera in the direction that you want the picture to be taken. When your place is saved online whatever you see on your screen right then will become the Place Preview. The cooler your Place Preview, the more likely people are to come to your place.

Place Description

This is where you get to talk about your place, or read about someone else's place. The Description gives you information about how to play the game, as well as anything else the owner might think is important. It's a good idea to put in a lot of useful information into the description, since people are going to be playing your game and not know everything about it like you do. Let them know how to start playing, or what they're supposed to do.

Configuration Panel

This is where you can do various things with your place, such as change settings or advertise your place.

Configuration Page

This link brings you to a page where you can edit everything about your place. Click here to learn more about this page.

This page lets you create advertisements to get people to come to your place. Click here to learn more about Ads.

Other Places

If you have BC, TBC, or OBC then you can have more than 1 place, and you will see other places listed below the main one. Want to read about more than the one you have selected? Click on the gray title bar of a place to view them! Shwoo, the place slides open with all the same information! Wasn't that easy?

Showcase

The Showcase is where you edit which places show up in the Places list, and other tools Click here to learn more about the Showcase.
