What is the InsertService
The InsertService is used to insert models into a game from ROBLOX. This can be useful if you want auto updating models, secure content, or have dynamic content. ROBLOX first released the InsertService around March - April 2010. However, it was recently updated in the way it works, around December of 2011.
How it Works
There are certain requirements that must hold true for the InsertService to load a model from the website:
- The model must be owned by the creator of the place it is being inserted into or by a trusted user, such as the user ROBLOX.
- The model must be a trusted model from the website (otherwise, scripts it contains won't get inserted).
