It uses the Data URI Scheme to get passed the moderated message alert when you post URLs. For example, to embed a video before you'd have to use "http://www.youtube.com/embed/videoIdHere", but now you could convert it into something that doesn't get moderated. Only the user who chats it can see it however, due to encodeURIComponent.
