Hey, I like these a lot. You know what would be interesting... if the random number generator "a" could be affected somehow. Let's say "a" picks a number to make "desert". Now it's going to pick a number for the neighboring pixel. But we want to *slightly* increase the probability now for that pixel to be desert, and *slightly* decrease the probability for that pixel to be ocean. Similarly, let's say the random number generator picks "ocean"... we want the neighboring pixels to be *slightly* more probable as "ocean" instead of "desert". Does that make sense? It kinda makes sence... but that's too much for me. maybe you could figure it out? ~)buckethead101(~ 05:24, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
I'm mulling over it in the back of my head. If it could be figured out, you could do a LOT with it. For example, you would want mountains to be with mountains, hills to be with hills, lakes to be with lakes, deserts to be with deserts... It would make a natural "clumping" effect, instead of putting everything everywhere. MINDRAKER 06:02, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
