You Visit a Place when you click on the Place in the ROBLOX website. When you Visit, your character is put in the place and (if you are just playing ROBLOX for the first time, and haven't altered your place yet) a Brickyard is appended to the place to provide a sample of pieces to build with.
You can also Edit a Place.
