The Meaning

While wandering around the forums, especially around the Scripters forum, you might have came across a player saying this.

GOBWEY is an acronym meaning "Get Out Before We Eat You". It originated in the Scripters forum, and then found its way to some other forums and is sometimes used in these. Usually, players will use this to mean to you that you posted a thread in the wrong forum, or that you did something wrong. Its use is generally not always well accepted, but it is used mainly by players who get mad at you for posting certain things.

Some History

The acronym GOBWEY originated in the Scripters forum, it was back then used as players pretended to be cannibals and to eat other ROBLOXians, as to scare them away so they get out of the forum and don't post there again. It is still used, but new users often get confused when they see it, because they do not understand what the user using it means.
