Do you need help on the wiki? Here's a quick page about information you may need to learn more about the wiki!

Introduction to the Wiki

This Wiki is intended to help new players get a start in the Roblox world, and to help more experienced players get the basics of code.

If you want to edit a page, there is a very good tutorial on how to do so at Wikipedia's Help center, which can be found here. Everything is the same, since Wikipedia and Roblox's Wiki both run on the same Wiki HTML code, MediaWiki. You can also find other topics there, at the main Help center Here.

About the Wiki

This page contains information provided thoughtfully by the creators and users of WikiPedia - The Free Encyclopedia which is a free resource under the GNU Free Documentation License, found Here.

Please note that this is just a page that is intended for help with the Wiki, not the game. See our many articles on how to play and build in the game. If you have a question that is not answered here, PM Telamon, MrDoomBringer, or any sysop. They will make a page about it, or send you a direct answer.

Editing the Wiki

Unfortunately, the wiki isn't editable by normal users, and only specifically chosen users can edit it. To get chosen to help write articles, keep an eye on the scripters forum as this is where ROBLOX administrators ask around for applies. You should probably be able to:

  • Write with proper grammar.
  • Understand Studio
  • Understand Most features of ROBLOX
  • Write with proper spelling
  • Know a bit of Lua
  • Be able to build fairly well
  • Be able to write interesting articles

It can hit at anytime, and as I am writing this, I can tell you that learning to script, then foruming in the scripters forum can be a great thing. And sometimes you'll get lucky. Pust ROBLOX also tends to post updates and other interesting updates coming soon. To see the editing policy, see the link below. To learn how to edit the wiki, see other links below.
