Welcome to the ROBLOX Wiki!

Hello, welcome to the ROBLOX wiki. Congrats. :D There are several things you should know about the wiki before you start messing up, which I did lots of. :D First of all, the wiki uses a combination of HTML, and a specialized markup language. To learn more about it, you can visit:

Please limit your images (personal) to a limited amount. Also, try to avoid using wiki images in your games, because the wiki has a limited server relative to what uploaded ROBLOX images use. However, images in articles are a good idea. It's suggested that you look at the editing rules too. However, the when writing articles, (I personally) would like you too...

  • Add lots of links that relate
  • Add a See also at the end.
  • Use the <code lua> CODE </code> instead of <pre>.

The wiki should become easier to navigate, which is mostly the point of the above things.

Some people like to use/make signatures. You can do this, by editing your signature in your Preferences. The default signature has your name, with an autolink. By unchecking "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)", you can put in your own signature. Most users like to make theirs fancy, something you can't do with wikipedia. However, since this is a small wiki, we can. Feel free to create your own fancy signature, however, do not:

  • Use images in your signature
  • Make it massive/oversize

It is also suggested that you sign all your posts with your signature. To do this, you use 4 tilds (~~~~) (for a timestamp), or 3 tilds (~~~) (No time stamp). Your signature should always have a timestamp. You must always sign your posts on talk pages, and never sign your name on articles. If you are using a fancy signature, make sure to use a template, we don't want to scan through something like 30. A template looks like {{SUBST:User:Quenty/sigwrapper}}. Make sure to make your template in your user, preferable on User:USERNAME/sig . Also, when talking on talk pages, indent your response posts using ':'.

For an example of a signature, you can visit User:Quenty/sig.

Have fun editing the wiki, I look forward to your contributations! (Sorry for any fail spelling, ect.) - Quenty (talk • January 16)
