What Are Bevels

Bevels are bricks which have skewed edges, usually at 45 degrees. This results in the simulation of a 3-dimensional brick. However, Roblox did not have the option to enable 'Bevels' directly from the beginning. Instead, this feature was added in an update on October 30th, 2007.

How Do You Enable Bevels?

For the most part, you shouldn't have to enable bevels. Whenever Roblox is running, it will constantly be checking the frame rate you are receiving. If is high enough, it will enable 'Bevels' until the resources required are needed for something else.

However, you can in fact enable 'Bevels' so that they are shown despite your frame rate. At this point, this is not recommended, as most graphics cards will not be able to handle these effects. However, if you feel it is worth the try, follow these simple steps;

1. Open ROBLOX Studio
2. Goto Tools -> Settings -> Rendering
3. Set Bevels to ON.
4. Make sure graphicsMode is either Direct3D experimental or Automatic
5. If you have a really good graphics card, also set Anti aliasing to ON, it will make the bevels look even better.
