Set this template as your signature in the preferences page. For example, setting the signature to:
{{subst:sigwrapper|username|sigpage}}
Will result in the following being inserted as a signature
{{User:username/sigpage|date=03:24, 22 September 2024 (UTC)}}
The second, sigpage argument defaults to "signature", so if you have a signature template here, you can use:
{{subst:sigwrapper|username}}
