The Model Tool is an alternative to the Game Tool, and is less frequently used than it. It is used for dragging entire models.
Use
To use the Model Tool, the player must select a brick, which cannot be locked, by clicking on it. When an unlocked brick is under the cursor, it becomes a hand icon, otherwise it displays an arrow. Unlike the Game Tool, the Model Tool will drag the entire model of the selected brick around the map. To drag a single brick, the Game Tool must be used.
Note: The model tool will only drag models that are made up of bricks grouped together in the workspace (the bricks must be children of a Model). For example, if there was a plane place with a model tool, you could drag the entire plane with it. The model tool will not drag multiple bricks that are not "grouped" (direct children of the Workspace). For example, if you made a small house in a building place using building tools, you cannot move the whole thing at once with the model tool.
