Decals were once very hard to create in ROBLOX, requiring the user who wanted to see them to visit the place that had them in Solo Mode; though, skilled builders could easily find a way around this, it still caused much frustration. History

Decals are regular images that players can put on bricks and other objects in ROBLOX. Decals are similar to T-Shirts in nearly every way except you can not wear them. They're uploaded the same way as T-Shirts and can be bought and sold for Tickets and Robux.

Decals were once very hard to create in ROBLOX, requiring the user who wanted to see them to visit the place that had them in Solo Mode; though, skilled builders could easily find a way around this, it still caused much frustration. The May 14th, 2008 update changed that when it allowed users to uploaded images from their computer to ROBLOX through the "Content Creator".

  • Remember: Decals can be created in almost any image editor.
