What Is A Model?
A model is basically multiple objects grouped together, to form a single object. Models can include anything from bricks, to HopperBins, and greatly enhance the ease of which you can manipulate a group of objects.
In addition, through creating a model, you are also given the option to upload it to Roblox. This feature allows any other player to access the model through using the "All Models" tab within the "Insert" menu.
How Is A Model Created?
In order to create a model, simply follow these five simple steps.
1. Select either "Visit Solo" or "Edit Mode" from within the "My Roblox" Tab, or load a place from your computer.
2. Create the objects you would like to group together, and arrange them as you want them to be seen.
3. Group your model using 'CTRL + G'
4. From the menu bar, select "File," then "Publish Selection to Roblox"
5. Complete the required information, and select okay! (Name, Description, Public or Private)
If these five steps were followed correctly, you should have successfully created a model. If this did not work, then please try again or ask in the Roblox Help Center, located at this link: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowForumGroup.aspx?ForumGroupID=4
Once you're done, show off your models in the Creations Gallery forum! http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=17
