I don't want to upload a file, I want it to be loaded from the link. Basically so if I change my character, you'd be able to see that change through that image.

You can't. MediaWiki prevents linking to offsite-images

No, don't do that! it looks horrible. Use the EmphasisBox and TitledBox templates if you want colored boxes.
