== Welcome to the ROBLOX Wiki! ==
'''
Hello, welcome to the ROBLOX wiki. Congrats. :D There are several things you should know about the wiki before you start messing up, which I did lots of.  :D First of all, the wiki uses a combination of HTML, and a specialized markup language.  To learn more about it, you can visit:

* [[User:Quenty/Wikiformatting|Quenty's Cheat Sheat]]
== Notes ==
* [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Cheatsheet Wikipedia Cheat Sheat]

Please limit your images (personal) to a limited amount. Also, try to avoid using wiki images in your games, because the wiki has a limited server relative to what uploaded ROBLOX images use.  However, images in articles are a good idea.  It's suggested that you look at the [[Roblox_Wiki_Editing_Policy|editing rules]] too.  However, the when writing articles, (I personally) would like you too...
Please don't use EmphasisBoxes or TitledBoxes without closing them (like you are doing on this page). Doing so can cause weird behaviours and lots of other things you don't want to happen. You should also be careful to always close tags you open.

* Add '''lots of links''' that relate
Also, please don't just put examples like you did [http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php?title=Anchored_%28Property%29&oldid=54169 here] without explaining them, as just giving away random code is completely useless.
* Add a '''See also''' at the end.
* Use the <nowiki><code lua> CODE </code></nowiki> instead of <nowiki><pre></nowiki>.

The wiki should become easier to navigate, which is mostly the point of the above things.
Finally, you can remove old messages from your talk page, but it is usually recommended to keep them or to archive them, unless they really don't belong on the page. <div style="border-top:1px dashed;margin-bottom:.5em; overflow: hidden;font-size:75%;"><div style="float:left">[[User:JulienDethurens|JulienDethurens]]</div><div style="float:right">14 March 2012</div></div>

Some people like to use/make signatures. You can do this, by editing your signature in your [[Special:Preferences|Preferences]]. The default signature has your name, with an autolink.  By unchecking "''Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)''", you can put in your own signature.  Most users like to make theirs fancy, something you can't do with wikipedia. However, since this is a small wiki, we can.  Feel free to create your own fancy signature, however, do not:

Hi Itunes89. Please check your email for a note from myself. Please be careful with your account in the future. Thank you!--[[User:Gordonrox24|<span style="font-family:Script MT;color:#36B">Gordonrox24</span>]]&nbsp;&#124;&nbsp;[[User_talk:Gordonrox24|<span style="font-family:Arial;color:red">''Talk''</span>]] 14:34, 17 April 2012 (EDT)
* Use images in your signature
* Make it massive/oversize

It is also suggested that you sign all your posts with your signature.  To do this, you use 4 tilds <nowiki>(~~~~) </nowiki>(for a timestamp), or 3 tilds <nowiki>(~~~) </nowiki>(No time stamp). '''Your signature should always have a timestamp.''' You must '''always''' sign your posts on talk pages, and '''never''' sign your name on articles.  If you are using a fancy signature, make sure to use a template, we don't want to scan through something like 30. A template looks like '''<nowiki>{{SUBST:User:Quenty/sigwrapper}}</nowiki>'''.  Make sure to make your template in your user, preferable on <nowiki> User:USERNAME/sig </nowiki>.  Also, when talking on talk pages, indent your response posts using '<nowiki>:</nowiki>'.

For an example of a signature, you can visit [[User:Quenty/sig]].

Have fun editing the wiki, I look forward to your contributations! (Sorry for any fail spelling, ect.) {{User:Quenty/sig|date=January 16}}
