This template is used to mark a property, a method or an event as protected. It should not be used on pages other than pages of events, methods and properties and should always be contained in a noinclude tag (or otherwise not be contained in the onlyinclude tag, if there is one). If it must be used on a page other than the page of a property, method or event, then its nocat argument must be specified.
